Our preconference plans involve a Paint-and-Sip to be held in the Magnolia building on Baton Rouge Community College campus followed by a dinner at Superior Grill located near the campus.

If you are interested in participating in either or both events, please email me at jweaver@centralcss.org. There will be a $25 fee for the painting event and dinner is on your own.

Guest Speaker
Saleem Watson
Saleem Watson is a Professor of Mathematics at California State University, Long Beach, specializing in the field of Functional Analysis. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Andrews University in Michigan and did graduate studies at Dalhousie University and McMaster University, where he received his Ph.D. Watson co-authored the best-selling Precalculus: Mathematics for Calculus with Stewart and Redlin. In spring 2018, Saleem became a new co-author for the market-leading Stewart Calculus franchise.
